Diane L. Scharf

Ms. Diane L. Scharf, 53, of Milton Avenue, Amsterdam died suddenly on Monday, February 8, 2021. Born in Amsterdam, NY on December 15, 1967 she was the daughter of Jean Turner Scharf and the late Douglas Scharf. A lifelong city resident, Diane attended local schools and was a graduate of FMCC and SCCC obtaining two associates degrees. An avid animal lover, Diane assisted in several animal rescues and enjoyed volunteering her time. She was currently employed at the Country Feed Store in Amsterdam at the time of her passing. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her mother, Jean; two sisters, Lisa Pacifico and Laurie (Thomas) Cetnar; nieces and nephews, Brendon Scharf, McKenzie Scharf, Nathan Cetnar, Rachel Cetnar, Joshua Pacifico and Alexandra (Brandi) Pacifico; and many friends. She was predeceased by her father and her brother, Kelvin. Services are at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in Fairview Cemetery.
