Mrs. Diane Thompson, 70, of Midline Road, died peacefully on Thursday, October 1, 2020. Born on October 29, 1949 she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Lena Robusto. Diane taught for many years at St. Mary’s Institute as the Pre-K teacher. She will be remembered for her lifelong love of learning and teaching children. She also enjoyed reading, playing the piano, loved her cats and spending time with her children and granddaughter. On October 2, 1971 she was united in marriage to Gregory A. Thompson. That union lasted 46 years until his passing on February 14, 2017. She is survived by her two sons, Alan and Jonathan Thompson; her granddaughter, Chloe; and one sister, Marleen Coddington and her husband Rex. In keeping with Diane’s wishes, there are no services. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the care of Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home.
