Diann Elizabeth Meek passed away November 29, 2014, in Olympia, WA, where she was born 60 years earlier on June 12, 1954, to John E. and Margaret Meek. She graduated from Tumwater High School in 1973. Diann was a caring and generous woman who loved her family and was always checking to see what everyone was up to. She also loved her horses, birds, and going to the casino. She retired from the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office. She was an active member of the Church of Christ in Olympia. She is survived by her parents, John E. and Margaret Meek; brothers, John A. (Wilma) Meek, Larry (Vera) Meek, and Roy (Cathy) Meek, all of Olympia; sisters, Joan (Miles) Naslund of Salol, MN, Betty (Craig) Holt of Olympia, and Barb (Marc) Mueller of Olympia; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial donations may be made to Animal Services, 3120 Martin Way E, Olympia, WA 98506, Explorer Scouts, Olympia Police, Attn: Amy Stull, 601 4th Ave. E, Olympia, WA 98501, or any cancer society.
