Dino Angelo De Lorenzo

Dino A. De Lorenzo, age 84 of Bradenton, FL (formerly Cincinnati, OH), passed away on July 6, 2017. He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife Elinor of 49 cherished years, his parents, Liben and Rosa De Lorenzo, and his brother Victor. He is survived by his son David A. De Lorenzo of Cincinnati, OH, daughter Dina M. De Lorenzo of Bradenton, FL, daughter Natalie A. Russell (Rob), and grandchildren: Ian Russell and Elinor Russell of Bradenton, FL and many much loved nephews and nieces. He proudly served his country in the Korean War. Whether you called him Dad/Pop/Papa/Grandy/Unc or Mr. D. he was loved by many. His Catholic faith guided him to be everything a husband/father should be. To say he was a family man would be putting it mildly; his greatest joy came from being with his family. He was an avid fisherman and passed that love of fishing on to both his son David and grandson Ian. His love of cooking and photography certainly went to his granddaughter Ellie. He will be missed greatly by those who had the privilege to know him. In lieu of flowers please share a happy memory with the family. A memorial service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on July 22nd, in the Chapel at Ss. Peter and Paul The Apostles Catholic Church, 2850 75th Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209.
