Dixie Ann Crump Meacham

DIXIE ANN CRUMP MEACHAM Dixie Ann Crump Meacham was born - June 21, 1935 in Denning, Arkansas to Lhamon Crump and Clara Dixon Crump. Surrounded by family she died peacefully in her sleep on March 24, 2016 at Twin Oaks Acute Rehab from complications of COPD due to smoking. On June 21, 1954 she married Mel Meacham of San Luis Obispo in Camarillo, CA. During their short 33 years of marriage, they raised four daughters - Kathy, Lori, Margie and Sheri. Dixie loved - cooking, the outdoors, family get-togethers, fishing, waterskiing and camping. Many family vacations were spent with her husband, daughters, Dixie's parents Al & Clara Gray and her siblings Susan & Steve Gray. Dixie was preceeded in death by her loving husband Mel Meacham (1987) & sister Susan Galloway. She also leaves behind her four daughters - Kathy Perez (Albert) of Glenn, Lori Jones (George Jackson) of Chico, Margie Werner (Johnnie) of Chico and Sheri Hughes (John) of Reno, NV. Eleven grandchildren, 9 ½ great grandchildren, her sister Lynda Nichols & brother Steve Gray. A celebration of life will be held at the Perez residence in Glenn at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2016.
