Dolores Elizabeth Burg
March 27th, 1931 - October 4th, 2018
Dolores Elizabeth Burg (nee Donohue) , 87, formerly of Jackson Heights NY passed away peacefully at Rockledge Regional Medical Center on Thursday, October 4, 2018. She is the widow of Stephen Burg, to whom she was married for 47 years, when he passed in 2001. Dolores was predeceased by her parents Michael and Marguerite Donohue, sisters, Marguerite Beecken, Lorraine Cullinane, brother Michael Donohue, her first son Stephen Michael Burg, and her first great-grand daughter Riley Carey. She is survived by daughters Diane Masi, Virginia Tremaine and son Philip Burg; their spouses Robert Masi, Kenneth Tremaine, Kristie Burg and daughter-in-law Norma-Jean Burg. Dolores has 4 grandchildren: Kenneth Tremaine, Erin Carey, Stephen Burg and Patrick Burg and 5 step-grand-children: Angela Kelly, Robert Masi, Anthony Masi, Connor McSpirit and Shauna McSpirit. She has 2 great-grandchildren: Logan Carey and Caden Carey. She was also lovingly regarded grand-mother by Julie Tremaine. Dolores was a homemaker and an active parishioner at St. Joan of Arc church in Jackson Heights NY. She later went on to work as receptionist and assistant to Dr. Thomas Markoski. She had a passion for Baseball and was a loyal fan to the NY Mets. Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday October 13, at Wagner's Funeral Home, 655 Old Country RD Plainview NY from 8:30am to 9:30am followed by a 10am funeral Mass at St. Pius X RC Church in Plainview.
