Christopher Crum

I served with SSG Crum while we were stationed together in Germany. He was feisty, but in a very good way. We disagreed on some things but he excelled in his role within our platoon. He was a soldier that I smoked for getting out of line only to help him later on in preparing a promotion packet due to his great performance. Crum was one of our best drivers and launching station maintainers. He took great pride in his service to our nation and I thank him for his service. He is a hero.

To Jessica, 

He loved you dearly and it was evident in every picture he posted with you. A lot of us had never seen him smile the way he did when he was with you. I can assure you that you are in my thoughts. Christopher was a great man and hearing about his sudden loss was devastating. My heart goes out to you and your family.

We are among those whose “lives were forever changed for the better because of Malnor’s kind-hearted nature.” We remember Len and Malnor’s visit to Hawai’i, and her good-natured willingness to go outside her comfort zone on our many adventures. We knew the moment she walked in the door that family had arrived, as she showered us with some of her beautiful quilt work. We shared grandchildren, and know her grandchildren loved “Grammy” very much. Malnor also shared our children, accepting them as her own family, as we accept hers as ours. She exuded love, light and laughter. Malnor had an infectious laugh that we can still hear as we talk about it. We share your grief, but even more, we remember her with joy and join you in celebrating her life.

Chrissy, I have been in complete shock since I found out, I’ve been trying to find the words, but the truth is there are no right words. I’m going to miss you so much. Even though we haven’t worked with each other in years we have always kept in contact and for the last two years we have atleast sent tiktoks to each other every single day, I keep logging on and wishing I would find 20 new videos from you and then it hurts even more. You were such an amazing person, I remember starting at trips and it took a while for me but I eventually cracked the hard quiet exterior and we became very good friends. You always had my back and you always made me laugh not to mention you always tried to keep a straight face when I cracked a joke but you never really could. We played pranks on each other, and had serious life lesson talks. You always gave the best advice and you had such a pure heart. I’m heart broken I love you and I’m sorry if I didn’t say that enough. Thank you for being my friend I was truly blessed to have you in my life. You were too good for this world. Love always, Ashley. To Chrissy’s family you are in my thoughts and prayers I am so very sorry for this devastating loss.

To such a pure and beautiful soul and one of the best people I’ve ever worked with. I was so thankful that our friendship grew so much since we first met, Chrissy was always there for me and gave me the best laughs and heartfelt advice through the ups and downs of everyday life. You have reached down and planted a root of love in our hearts. We are so blessed to have the loving memories that we all have of you. I personally love your beautiful smile and the memory of you trying so hard not to laugh at some of my antics when I was lucky enough to help out with tree stuff. I particularly remember a 4 day job we did and me resisting allowing you to take the heavy stuff but by the 4th day I appreciated you being the gentle beast and tenderly tapping my shoulder, saying "I got this" and moving my tired pushing 70 year old body out of the way and taking care of me. You will live forever in my heart.

I’m just stunned, without words. Devyn was so strong and driven! She had so much energy and could light up a room with her smile and laugh. I’ve been reaching out to her for a month and hadn’t heard anything. Please let me know when there is a service for her. My broken heart aches for her children, family and friends.

News of Thomas' passing brings great sadness to my heart. I have many good memories of getting into trouble as kids growing up and trying to find our way. Thomas had a tender heart and a smile that would light up the room. I regret not staying close after we struck out on our own. So many memories left unmade. Rest in peace until we meet on the other side.

Tom, our loving and caring cousin ~ we will miss you more then words can express ~ we know there was a brief time we didn't see or speak to each other ~ but no matter how much time had passed ~ we never forgot about you ~ these past few months will be so memorable to Tim and I ~ the day you and Sandra were married ~ the day the 4 of us spent together in Blackhawk and we had all you can eat King Crab Legs ( Your Favorite ) also making you your favorite ( banana bread ) ~ You will always be in our hearts and memories~ know this Brother Tom ~ You will be missed and forever loved!

Sorry for your loss. I did not know Thomas but I have known his wife for many years. He will be missed by a lot of people and now he is riding his harley on the Heaven Highway!
