Dominga "Sunday" G. Ramos was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world on March 17, 2022, at age 84. She was born to Anastacio and Martina Gonzalez in Seguin, Texas. She met her husband Joe Ramos in Nyssa, Oregon, who she was married to for 61 years. Together they had 4 children: Irene, Rosie, Joe Jr., and Cindy. Later, her grandson, the apple of her eye, came into the world, Marcellus. Sunday loved spending time in the garden, singing, building things, eating sweets, spending time with friends, and being there for her family. A viewing is scheduled for 10:45 A.M. on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at St. Bridget's Catholic Church in Nyssa, Oregon, followed by a rosary and funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment Owyhee Cemetery. Arrangements and services by Lienkaemper Chapel, Nyssa.

Our story begins in 1907 when the Peterson family, who owned a furniture store in Ontario, helped with funeral arrangements and sold caskets from the store’s basement. Over the years, the business has grown and had a number of owners, partnerships and names. Among them was our current namesake, the Lienkaemper family, who purchased the family funeral home with the mission of helping families in the Ontario community. ...
