Donald D. Bowman, 67, died at his home in Lacey, Washington on November 28, 2019. He was born November 15, 1952 to Winston V. Bowman and Velma C. (Libby) Bowman in Newport, Vermont. He also was a longtime resident of Olympia, Washington. Donald attended Brownington Grade School, and graduated from Lake Region Union High School in the Orleans, Vermont area. He joined the U.S. Army right out of high school, and served for 20 years. On June 14, 1985, he married Karen Kinney. Donald is survived by his daughters, Tonia (Bowman) Cairns and husband Robbie of Kansas, Trisha (Bowman) Mayhew and husband John Sr. of Vermont, and Windy Bowman of Vermont; stepdaughters, Carie Anne (Peery) Ellingwood of Maine, and Carla (Peery) Murphy of Washington; sons, Joelseph Peery, Donald Dean Bowman, Jr.; sisters, Bonnie (Bowman) Dewing and husband Terry, Diane Bowman, and Theresa Gray, all of Vermont; stepsisters and stepbrothers-in-law; grandchildren; great grandchildren; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He also is survived by his great friends, Chuck Boyd and Ray Haddenham. He was predeceased by his parents, wife, son, and stepson. Services pending.
