Donald "Donnie" Keith Butler
November 24th, 1954 - September 23rd, 2024
Donald “Donnie” Keith Butler, 69, of Largo passed away September 23rd, 2024 at home.
Born and raised in Clearwater, Florida, he graduated from Largo High School and Clearwater Christian College with a Bachelor in Music and Arts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Margaret Mason Butler; his sister Kay Butler O’Brien; and his wife Cynthia Keeney Butler.
Don is survived by his children, Kyle Evan Butler (Mary Tanner Butler) and Kayleigh Michelle Butler; sister, Joy Lee Butler Clayton (Richard Thomas Clayton); grandchildren Cohen Kenneth Butler, Marshall Bennett Butler, and Brody Calvin Butler; nephews, Allen Ennis and Ryan Clayton; nieces, Connie Ennis Wondergem and Alyson Clayton Holt.
Don’s passion was music as he loved playing guitar, writing music, and singing. He believed in and loved Jesus, attending Mission City Church in Largo. He would lead worship and share the word of God with the homeless community each week. He will be remembered as being funny, kind, outgoing, and wonderful.
Don’s memorial service will be Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 11am at North Dunedin Baptist Church with a reception to follow.
