Donald E. Clark, 76, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014. Born in Yeagertown, PA on January 31, 1938 to Harry G. Clark and Mildred (Stimely). He grew up in Torrington, CT until moving to Cocoa Beach in 1989. He loved Cocoa Beach. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force from 1955 until 1959. Serving duty in Okinawa, Japan and Formosa. He was proud to have served his country. Don loved all sports , the Magic and N. Y. Giants were his favorites. He liked fishing, boating, cooking and spending time in his favorite chair watching people, launches and animals, which is why he and his wife were care takers to a Feral Colony for 14 years. He owned and operated Clark Air Conditioning and Heating Inc. in Cocoa Beach since 1991. Prior to that he worked at Patterson Oil, C & G in Torrington, CT and Clark Heating in Canton, CT. He was a wonderful business man who always had a smile on his face. Don made many friends because of his kindness. Don is survived by his wife of 55 years, Florence Clark; son, Dennis (Deanna) Clark of Rockledge, FL; daughter, Donna (Rob) Zordan of Torrington, CT; grandsons, Gregory (Lauren) Zordan and Michael Zordan of Torrington, CT; and a brother, Harry Clark of Palm Coast, FL; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry G. Clark, Sr.; his mother, Mildred DeAngelo; his sister, Vernesa Mella; and Summer his Siamese cat who he loved so very much. Graveside services will be held 11 A.M. Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Florida Memorial Gardens with military honors. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Don’s name to your favorite charity.

To My Husband & Best Friend Today would have been our 56th Anniversary. It was so hard to say goodbye to you. You were mine for all those years.
