Donald Roland Dubois

Donald Roland Dubois, age 86 of New Bedford, Massachusetts passed away on March 7th, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late George and Marie Anne ( Boileau) Dubois. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 58 years, Aline Pineau Dubois. Also his children, Gisele Maahs of FL; Daniel Dubois of NC; and Pamela Parziale of Carver, MA. Siblings include, Theresa Ghilardi, Yvette Toyfair, Jeannine Penler, Robert, Roger, Paul, Richard Dubois and Suzanne Imel. Ten grandchildren, Alyssa, Daniel,Jr; Ryan, Jessica, Jared, Ben, Joseph, David, Stephen and Scott. Six great grandchildren, Sumere, Zachery, Piper, Benjamin, Katie and Adam. He is preceded in death by one son, Robert P. Dubois and 2 sisters, Georgette Newberg and Germaine Smith. Donald lived most of his life in Lakeville and New Bedford. He retired as a conductor for Amtrak and Conrail. He was a born storyteller, avid golfer and baseball player for Sharpshooter and Madeira Club and enjoyed his family time. Mr. Dubois proudly served our country in the US Army for 8 years. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Tribute Cremation Society is serving the Dubois family.
