Donald "Eddie" Edward Crawford Jr.

Donald Edward Crawford, Jr. “Eddie”, age 66, sadly passed away on September 13, 2021. He was born on February 27, 1955. Eddie was a loving son to Madaline Stitt and loving brother to Christine Powers, Deborah Paananen, Victoria Crawford, and Marion Pennie. He is survived by his mother, four siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews, many great nieces and great nephews, and a great-great nephew. Eddie was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Marian; uncles, Leslie, George R. and George J.; aunts, Joan, Anne, and Connie; cousins, Daniel, Steven, Amy, Warren, and Michael. Eddie lived in Denver, Colorado for the majority of his life. He was a Christian man, mechanic, carpenter, and a handyman and was always there to the rescue fixing or repairing something for someone, almost daily. Some knew him as Don, Ed, Fast Eddie, Mister Ed, or Mr. Fix-it. He was handsome, intelligent, kind, well liked, and easy going. Eddie loved animals, western movies, his family, cars and the ladies. Throughout his life Eddie was a giver not a taker. He will always be loved, never forgotten, and forever missed. Private services will be held for family and close friends at a later date. “We little knew that morning God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again.”
