Donald David Ellerbe, age 70, passed away at his home in Lakeland, Florida on November 22, 2017. He was born on May 18, 1947 to Don and Hilda Surrency Ellerbe in Lakeland. Donald was a lifetime resident of Polk County where he spent most of his career as a Chemist for the Walt Disney Company in Orlando and was also an Air Force veteran. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and going on hunting trips. He was preceded in death by: his parents, brother - Richard. Donald is survived by: Wife - Joyce Ellerbe, Daughters: Shannon Brown of Lakeland and Brittany (Terry) Johnson of Winter Haven. 5 Grandchildren: Derrick, Taylor, Jacob, Bryce and Josh. Great-Grandchild: Jackson. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donation be made to the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Auburndale, Florida in Donald's name.
