Donald Wesley Hagen, of Sandpoint, ID, died September 14, 2019 at the VA Medical Center in Boise, ID at the age of 88. He was born to Ralph and Essie (Griffith) Hagen on May 22, 1931 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Donald received his Masters of Geology from UCLA. During his life, he traveled and lived in Inglewood, CA; Calgary, Canada; Dhahran, Saudi Arabia; and Asunción, Paraguay. Donald loved music, dancing, and singing. He also loved to ski. Donald is survived by his son, Erik Hagen; his daughter, Tina Regehr; his nieces, Laura Hagen and Melody Mascarenaz; and his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Nancy Petraborg; and his brother, Ralph Hagen, Jr. A Memorial Gathering is being planned at Donald’s home in Sandpoint, ID in the spring or summer of 2020.
