Donald D. Keefer, born June 14, 1932 to Hubert and Arlyne Keefer in Waupun, Wisconsin, along with his older Brother, Hubert F. Jr. (deceased). He was a very talented man; he loved to write music, played in a band, playing the clarinet, saxophone and flute. He also was as talented in his self taught woodworking, building most all of their furniture, and remodeling the family home.Don was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who built them all a lot of memories.Never losing his sense of humor, Donald passed peacefully Sunday evening with his loving family by his side. Don is survived by Phyllis, his loving wife of 60 years, his two daughters, Ronna Abel and Diane Ruiz (Joseph Ruiz), his son Craig Keefer, and his two Grandchildren, Joseph Ruiz Jr. and Lily Ruiz. A gathering of friends and family will take place on Friday, January 17, from 1:00pm-Sunset at the family's home in Goleta. We send you on your sentimental journey with love.
