Donald Joseph Kirby, Jr. (1947-2023) Donald Joseph Kirby, Jr., 76, of Summerville, SC, died 10/13/2023 surrounded by his family he so dearly loved. Joe worked nearly 42 years as a Civilian Management Analyst for the Department of the Army. He is predeceased by his parents Donald Joseph Kirby and Gladys Love Stokely, brother Jeff Kirby and former wife Margaret Mary Schettig. He is survived by his wife Keitha Kirby as well as siblings Diane Marlett, Kathy Sheehan, and Richard Kirby. Joe is also survived by his children, Brian Kirby, Shanon Chorzelewski, Josh Kirby and step daughters Jeanine Pavuk, Kristen Holcroft, and Jaclyn Fitter, 15 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A visitation for family and friends will be held November 18 at Crossroads Community Church, 505 Gahagan Road Summerville, SC at 10:00 am followed by the memorial service at 11:00. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society or Lowcountry Food Bank.
