Donald "Duck" L. Kirkland

Donald L. (Duck) Kirkland, 57, of Ravenel, SC departed this life on September 16, 2013 at 9:07 PM. He was born on October 30, 1955 in Charleston, SC and is the son of Agnes T. Kirkland and the late Dewey D. Kirkland. His last days were spent at the Hospice Center in Mount Pleasant, SC. His viewing will be held at 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, September 20, 2013 at Adams Run Baptist Church, 8113 Hwy 162, Adams Run, SC with funeral services at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the same location. Burial following at the Adams Run Baptist Church Cemetery. He is survived by his fiancé, Debra L. Edwards, one son, Brian K. Wright, five siblings, Ivy K. McIver (Forde), Dewey L. Kirkland (Kathy), Cheryl K. Swain (Jack), Tammy K. Inabinett, and Phillip M. Kirkland (April), and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a niece, Kimberly M. Swain. The family would like to thank the caring people at Hospice of Charleston, Mount Pleasant.
