Donald LeRoy Ledbetter

Donald L. Ledbetter, age 51, of Rogersville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 1, 2016 while visiting his family in Cherokee, NC. Donald was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp having proudly served his country during Desert Storm. He worked at AFG Glass Plant for 26 years. He was saved at Tow String Missionary Baptist Church in Cherokee, NC. He was baptized and attended Rogersville Baptist Temple. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was preceded in death by his, parents Ruby and Sherfey Ledbetter, grandparents Harry and Vergie Ledbetter, Marshal and Margie Helton, and Daughter Ashley Blake Owen. He is survived by his loving wife, Kristy Ledbetter; 2 daughter's Kandice Mathews and husband R.L. Mathews of Cherokee NC, Brandice Davis of Rogersville TN , Father in law and mother in law Gene and Sue Fain of Rogersville, 2 granddaughters Melah and Addisyn Mathews of Cherokee NC, grandson Dollen Davis of Rogersville, brother Robert Ledbetter and wife Jane of Rogersville, niece Cynthia Ledbetter Swiney and husband DJ of Appalachia VA There will be a graveside service for Donald at 2:30 pm on Friday, April 8, 2016 at the VA Mountain Home National Cemetery with military rites performed by American Legion Hammond Post 3/265.
