Thompson Funeral Homes - Lexington
Donald "Don" MacEachern
November 25th, 1955 - May 15th, 2023
Donald Lyneer MacEachern of Lexington, SC, passed away at the age of 68 on May 15, 2023 at Lexington Memorial Hospital. He was born in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Allen and Patricia Sproles MacEachern. He worked as a banking loan officer most of his life and enjoyed entertaining car dealers on the golf course as golf was one of his passions. Perhaps his most enjoyable job was life guarding for Vernon’s Beach Service at Myrtle Beach. Don is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Karen Maxheimer MacEachern and family: a daughter Stacey (Jim) Reaves, a grandson Jake (Sarah-Katherine) Reaves, a granddaughter Madison (Trent) Elmore, two brothers Kent (Marsha) Mac Eachern, Eric (Val) MacEachern, and a sister Alison (Bill) Salane, and many adored nieces and nephews. The family will have a small memorial service at the beach at a later date. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America in honor of his wife.
