Donald Svoboda

Donald J. Svoboda passed away peacefully, Tuesday, September 12, 2023. He was 77 years old. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 2 PM in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory. A visitation will take place one hour prior between the hours of 1 PM and 2 PM. The family requests those attending wear their favorite Hawaiian shirt to celebrate Mr. Svoboda's life. Donald was born September 14, 1945 in San Diego, California to the late Mr. Donald F. Svoboda and Mrs. Elvira Feist Svoboda. Donald was the president of Introsul, Inc., a family business shared with his late wife, Kathleen Svoboda. Along with his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, David Svoboda. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather great grandfather, and friend that will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his beloved children: David (Tena) Svoboda, Daniel (Duan) Svoboda, and DeAnn (Logan) Garbett; grandchildren: Amanda Svoboda, Taylor (Julia) Svoboda, William (Morgan) Svoboda, Sarah (Nate) Svoboda, Adam Svoboda, Trey (Paige) Garbett, Wyatt Garbett, Gracie Svoboda, and Landon Svoboda; great grandchildren: Stella Grace Svoboda, Shaylee Smith, Matty Padgett and Ethan Picanso, siblings: Dennis Svoboda of Collinsville, IL and Daniel Svoboda of Mebane, NC, and a host of extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to the Georgia Sheriffs' Youth Homes, 1000 Sheriffs Way, Madison, GA 30650 or Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
