Donald Earl Williard
December 21st, 1928 - February 28th, 2022
In Loving Memory Donald E. “Don” Williard passed away peacefully at home in Seminole, Florida on February 28th, 2022. He was born to Earl and Ivy Williard on December 21st, 1928, in Akron, Ohio. Beloved husband to the late Betty Jo Williard, and beloved brother to the late Thelma Remington. Don will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and his neighbors. A gentle spirit, he was best known for his love for his country. Don retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, where he met his lifelong partner, Betty Jo. They married in 1962 and spent much time traveling and enjoying their life together. Don’s passion and respect for his country was evident his entire life, first serving in the military. After retirement, Don and Betty Jo spent many years volunteering at the American Legion Post 273 Madeira Beach, as well as serving as an honor guard at Bay Pines National Cemetery, St Petersburg, Florida. Don was known by those who knew him best for always having his talking points ready, and an innate ability able to carry on a conversation or discussion with anyone willing to sit and discuss a topic or hear a detailed story. He is survived by his four children: Barbara Jo Eisaman, “Jim”, Deborah Lynn Callea, David Earl Klein “Trish” and Douglas Edward Klein “Stephanie”. 8 Grandchildren and 12 Great grandchildren. Private services will be held at Bay Pines National Cemetery, St. Petersburg, Florida.
