Donna Kaye Cassell

Donna Kaye Agee Cassell, 56, of Kingsport answered the call for Home from her Lord and Savior following a lengthy illness on April 12, 2016. She is rejoicing in Heaven with her son, Kevin Shane Cassell; grandparents, Charlie and Virgie Agee and Dutt and Dora Wagers and many other loved ones. Donna graduated in 1977 from Lynn View High School where she was a cheerleader. She was a born again Christian and a member of Westview Baptist Church that she loved so much and where she was loved by so many. She had a love for horses, horseback riding, and all of God's little animals. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 35 years, Jim Cassell; Mom and Dad, James and Bettie Agee; sister, Lisa Bernard and husband Bobby; Nieces and Nephews, Taylor Leanna, Charlie Joe, Mikayla, and Kenny; her furry little buddy, Shiloh, and many friends and family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Shelton Hagar for his love and understanding and also to Amanda Oliver, McKenzie Darnell of ICU, Holston Valley Medical Center and Nichole Gilley, Kayleigh Davis, Wes Patten of TN Donor Services and many others for the compassionate care they gave Donna and our family during this time. Pallbearers will be friends and family. The family will receive friends, Saturday, 5-7:00pm at Westview Baptist Church with services following at 7:00pm. Pastor Mike Stout will be officiating. A graveside service will be conducted Sunday, 2:00pm at Oak Hill Memorial Park. The family will be accepting friends anytime at the home of her Mom and Dad, James and Bettie Agee. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Downtown Kingsport is serving the Cassell Family.
