Donna Fay Dyas-Schildgen

Donna Fay Dyas-Schildgen, 55 of Gilbert, Arizona passed away on October 9, 2010 in Gilbert, AZ. Donna was born October 7, 1955 in Artesia, New Mexico to Warren Thomas and Shirleen (Campbell) Johnston. Donna loved her children and grandchildren, she enjoyed fishing, camping, quilting, cooking, and was full of life. She was a dedicated elementary teacher that loved her students, and both the students and parents loved her. Donna is survived by her loving husband, Thomas E. Schildgen of Gilbert, AZ; son, Adam (Becki) Dyas of Chandler, AZ; daughters, Allyson (Whit) Roesch of Chandler, AZ, Amy Dyas of Gilbert, AZ; brothers, Ronnie Johnston of Artesia, NM, Dee Johnston of North Richland Hills, TX and 3 grandchildren, Danica, Brooklynn, and Caleb. A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Gateway Fellowship Church, 60 N. Recker Rd., Gilbert, AZ 85234 with internment immediately following at Valley of the Sun Cemetery, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Rd., Chandler, AZ 85248. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that books be donated to the Gilbert school district in Donna's honor, which can be used to further fulfill her legacy.
