Aspen Mortuaries - Lakewood
Donna Jean Kohut
July 30th, 1937 - May 9th, 2021
Obituary: Donna Jean Kohut July 30, 1937 †" May 9, 2021 Donna passed peacefully on May 9, 2021 surrounded by her son Mark, her daughter Michelle and husband Joseph, her granddaughter Ashley and husband Jesse and granddaughter Joey and husband Brandon, of Denver. She is also survived by her sisters Lucille and husband Clarence and their 2 sons of Kent, WA. Her sister Linda of Arkansas and her children. Granddaughter Shana and husband Eric of Madeira Beach FL., along with great granddaughters Megan and Nicole. Grandson Justin and wife Suzanne and great granddaughter Reagan Leigh of Denver. Donna was born in Rapid City, SD and later moved to Pacific, WA. She met her soul mate Floyd in Bremerton, WA while he was stationed there in the Navy. They were married on September 19, 1956 and spent 61 years together until Floyd†™s passing in 2017. They spent most of their time in Littleton, CO but would spend their summers in North Park every year. Their greatest passion was fishing, and it seemed to be their heaven away from the big city. They purchased a second home in Walden in 2005 so they could spend their summers fishing. Above all else they always put family first. Donna was a very spiritual person and spent a lot of time reading her Bible. She was the kind of person who could not find faults in anyone. She spent her last day doing what she loved, fishing. She was simply happy to be out fishing, it did not matter that she only caught a few fingerlings. She can now join her soul mate and will probably spend eternity fishing on Heaven†™s bank, holding hands, and dancing with her beloved husband.
