Donna L. Pedersen

Donna L. Pedersen, 87, passed away Sept. 14, 2021. She was born July 30, 1934 in Chicago, Il to Gus and Marjorie Hollander. Donna graduated from Taft High School (Chicago, IL) in 1952 and was a loving wife to Arnold for 65 years. Donna’s passion was her Christian faith, studying and living it by being a loving spirit to all she knew. She was a dedicated member of Cornerstone Presbyterian Church where she led bible studies and was an active member of the prayer group. She enjoyed garage sales and being the family social director. She was the beloved mother of David Pedersen (Sue) of Bradenton, FL, Janet Buhrow (Stan) of Lexington, SC, Sandra Kelly (Pat) of Lexington, KY, Douglas Pedersen (Cindy) of Apex, NC; grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents; husband; brother, Robert Hollander and sister, Barbara Echeverri. A memorial service will be held Friday, September 24th at 12:30pm at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church 5637 Bush River Rd, Columbia, SC 29212, with visitation following. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cornerstone Presbyterian Church or the Alzheimer’s Association. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family with arrangements.
