April 5th, 1931 - June 28th, 2024
Donna Jean Singleton, Age-93, of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away on June 28th, 2024, at Shore Point Healthcare in Punta Gorda, Florida. Donna was born in Toledo Ohio to the late Russell and Lillian Herr. Donna was a graduate from Southport High School in 1949. She was a retired Sales Representative from Cigna Insurance Company. Formerly of Indianapolis, Indiana Donna called Punta Gorda home for the last 8 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star and enjoyed gardening, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She also did volunteer work for Ronald McDonald House and the Indianapolis Zoo.
Donna is survived by two nieces, Rita (Thomas) Lee and Brenda (Mark) Turk. Three great-nieces, Beth Vaughn, Ashely (Casey) Crosby and Becky Jordan. Four great-nephews, Justin (Allison) Lee, Mark (Rana) Turk, Dennis Jordan and Brandon Lee. She is also survived by 9 great-great nephews and 6 great-great nieces.
She is preceded in death by her parents Russell and Lillian Herr, a sister, Judith A. Lee and a nephew, Dennis C. Jordan
A celebration of Donna’s life will be announced at a later date.
