Donna Mae Stewart (November 16, 1944 - October 1, 2010) Donna Mae Stewart, 65, after living a life of love, motherhood and service, returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday Oct 1, 2010. Born the only daughter of Joseph John Smigel and Violet June Smith, her life began on November 16, 1944 in Everett, Washington. At a young age, her family moved to Yakima, Washington where she lived approximately half of her life. This is where she meet her first husband, Willie Carector and had 3 sons. She relocated to the Kent/Auburn area where she gave birth to her 4th son with husband David Stewart. Donna later acted as a caregiver to her own mother, spending so much time at the facility, that she subsequently was hired there. Donna is survived by her 4 sons; Mark E. Carector, Adrian T. Carector, Anthony S. Carector and David J. Stewart and granddaughters Tiffany Patterson, Alanna and Aliyah Carector. She also leaves behind her first husband and friend Willie Carector. Donna is preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband, David E. Stewart. Donna was a genuine person, always willing to lend a helping hand and do the right thing. She was a passionate soul and expressed her love through her unwavering support of family, friends, church her hobby of gardening and her adoration of animals. She was a member of the local Elks club, where she loved to play bingo. Through boundless love and grace, she touched many lives and will be dearly missed. She was a touchstone to many and a faithful friend to all. Donna is a fallen star who will now shine forever in the Heavens. To honor her memory and say goodbye to this remarkable woman, a memorial will be held on December 18,2010 at 5:00pm at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Auburn (410 - H St NE Auburn, Washington.) Please feel free to bring in any photos you have to share with others. In lieu of flowers or other gifts, donations in her name should be made to any animal shelter.
