Donna Belle Teviotdale

Donna Belle Teviotdale, 95, passed away quietly in her family home surrounded by her daughters on August 8, 2024. Donna was the youngest of five children. She was born on January 24, 1929, to Carl and Mary Sorling in Denver, Colorado. She is survived by her two daughters Lynette (Bill) and Rhonda, her four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and her sister, Evelyn.

Donna spent most of her married life living in the family home that her father built with her husband of almost 68 years, “Buddy” who passed away in 2015. She was a devoted wife and mother who spent her later years working at Nu-Crisp Image Apparel. She was also very active with the Westminster Elk’s Ladies Auxiliary.

Often seen as a woman with endless energy, she always found a way to create memorable holidays and birthday celebrations. She had a love for dancing and often put on a little tap dance show in her kitchen for family and friends. Donna was proud of her grandchildren and was always there to support them in their various activities. For her great-grandchildren, she had end of summer scavenger hunts which included a handmade map leading them to a real treasure box full of surprises.

Donna was cherished by everyone she crossed paths with and touched many lives. She is loved by her family and friends dearly, and she will be greatly missed by all.
