Donny Lee Wright, 66, of Commerce City, Colorado, passed away at home on Saturday, July 29, 2017. Donny is survived by his two sons, Donny Wright and his wife Emily, and Lenny Wright; sister Sonia (Wright) Eads and brother-in-law Charles Eads; grandchildren Tristin Wright, Esperanza Gaschler, TJ Wright, Nathan Wright, Jack Wright, Reagan Wright, Jayden Wright, Pierce Wright and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Those who preceded him in death were his beloved parents, Leonard and Helen (Smith) Wright and brother Johnny. Donny was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to all. Donny was born December 20, 1950 in Denver, Colorado. He graduated from Adam City High School in 1969, joined the Navy and served from 1971 to 1975. Donny loved camping, fishing, hunting, 4-wheel driving, and corvette rides with his family and friends. Often you would find Donny accompanied by his grandchildren. Donny was a truck driver, he took pride in his work ethic and safety record and thoroughly enjoyed being a driver trainer.
