Doris Tant Bridges Mrs. Bridges, 84 passed away on Friday, May 18, 2012 at The Regency in Charlotte, NC. Doris was born in Charlotte, NC, April 10, 1928, the daughter of the late Pauline Cuthbertson Tant and James Wesley Tant. She was a graduate of Central High School in Charlotte and received an Associate of Arts degree from Pfeiffer University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from High Point University. She was preceded in death by her husband B. Hubert Bridges, Sr. Survivors include her son, B.H. Bridges, Jr. of Greenville SC; daughter, Amy Bridges Hock of Weddington, NC, and six grandchildren: Tiffany Wooten, Emily Hock, Hunter Bridges, Laura Bridges, Paul Bridges, and Collin Bridges. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 26, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Indian Trail. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Indian Trail, NC, 732 Indian Trail Fairview Rd., Indian Trail, NC 28079.
