Doris "Darcy" Jamison Fincher

Doris "Darcy" Jamison Fincher, 94, passed away into the loving arms of Jesus on November 8th, 2021. A life-long resident of Charlotte, N.C., Darcy was a devoted Christian and a member of the Amity Presbyterian Church for eighty-two years where she met her beloved husband, Carl. During her time at Amity, she dedicated herself to helping others in need through her many talents, including serving food trays and working in the nursery. Darcy always had a love for reading and a passion for cooking her renowned recipes for family and friends. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Carl Oglesby Fincher Jr. and her siblings, Oscar Jamison, Richard Jamison, Harry Jamison, Tunis Jamison, Sarah Aldrige, Tom Jamison, Reece Jamison Jr., Martha Campbell, Kit Hastings, Thelma Moore, Betty Downs, and Bonnie Hill. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Pamela Dover, Candy Neely and her husband Roger, Chip Fincher and his wife Carol, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. The funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on November 13th at Amity Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, N.C.
