Warner Robins: Doris Vann Jarrell, 87, passed away on Sunday November 7, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday at First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Dr. Jimmy R. Asbell Jr. and Rev. Missy Blumenthal will officiate. Mrs. Jarrell was born at Parris Island, SC to the late Bernell and Rehan Wiseman Vann. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church where she attended the Wesley Fellowship Sunday School Class, the United Methodist Women and participated in the Circle Ministries. She also enjoyed traveling with the Sunshine Bunch. Survivors include her children: Bonnie Jarrell Ellington of Atlanta, Tommy Ann Jarrell of Warner Robins and David Karen Jarrell of Milledgeville. Grandchildren: Ashley Jim Brown, Justin Jen Jarrell, Ben Jarrell, Claire Will Cook, Vann Thomas Jarrell, Paris Constantinidis and Eleni Constantinidis. Great grandchild: Jackson Brown. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church Television Ministry, 205 N. Davis Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31093. The family will greet friends from 10-11 AM Thursday at the church. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
