December 22nd, 1921 - November 20th, 2008
Doris Pollard, 86, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on Nov. 20, 2008. Born in NY City, NY yet grew up in Ocean Grove, NJ, Doris was a graduate of the NY Institute of Dietetics and was employed by the War Dept's Signal Corp. in the Meteorological Branch at Ft. Monmouth, NJ. She attended SPJC and was a kindergarten teacher for many years. She will be deeply missed by all her friends and family. She is survived by her kids: Linda, Janet, Bettyann, George, Jim, and Darlene in addition to a vast loving family. Visitation will be held at Gross Funeral Home on Sunday, November 23rd at 10 am with services beginning at 11 am. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens. David C.
