Doris Geniveve Scharg (nee Taylor) (90) of Parker, Colorado, passed away on December 21st, 2018 of natural causes. She resided with her family in New Jersey for many years, then made several moves to Colorado, Florida, Illinois, back to New Jersey before her husband and she retired to Florida, then back to Colorado for the last twelve years of her life. Doris Taylor was born on May 28th, 1928 in Clifton, New Jersey. She married George Scharg in 1949 at Toms River, New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her husband George and her parents Harry Taylor and Margaret Taylor (Denzel). Doris was a homemaker who is survived by her three children: Laura West of Portree, Isle of Skye, Scotland; Susan DeFelice of Parker, Colorado; and Gary Scharg of Black Hawk, Colorado. Grandchildren are Ian Bennett of San Jose, California, David Brotten of Denver, Colorado, and Brian Conway of Westminster, Colorado. Disposition of remains is cremation. The direct family will hold private memorial services.
