August 29th, 1948 - December 24th, 2020
Doris Williams was born on August 29, 1948, to the union of JT and Dorothy Williams in Benton, Louisiana. On December 24, 2020, she transitioned to heaven in McMinnville, Oregon. She was the firstborn of seven children. The Williams family relocated to Colorado for about five years, then to Los Angeles when Doris was a preteen. There she finished her education - graduated from high school, pursued an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, and worked as an Administrator Executive. In her spare time, Doris enjoyed dabbling in fashion, swimming, and playing tennis. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband (Redwind Willis, Jr.), parents, three- uncles, ten - Aunts, one nephew - Eric Hudgins, II, and one niece - Gracious Williams. She leaves to cherish her loving memory; two brothers – Freddie Williams, James Williams of California; four sisters – Pearlene Williams of California; Sandra Morris (Nathaniel), Beverly Blake (Jerry), and Caroland Wright all of Louisiana; one aunt- Grace Jenkins, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
