Dorothy Mae Ashbaugh, 94, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Pathways Hospice in Loveland, Colorado. Dorothy was born on December 18, 1926 in Norton, Kansas. As a young child her family moved to Akron, CO where she attended Akron area schools. Dorothy married Albert John Orback on September 28, 1946 and he passed away on January 28, 2003. Dorothy loved doing needlework, especially crocheting afghans. She was an amazing cook and was known for her cinnamon rolls and krautburgers. She enjoyed working in her garden around her flowers and roses. Lois was critical in establishing the Hill N Park Senior Center. Dorothy later meet Charles "Chuck” Ashbaugh and they were married on February 16, 2011 in Greeley, CO. Survived by her spouse; son Michael (Janice) Orback of Loveland; grandchildren Travis, Tyler, Clayton and Amber and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
