Dorothy Bodanza 2/13/1932 - 11/22/2013. Born and raised in Queens, New York, she resided in Tucson since 1989. She is our vibrant matriarch, who brightened everyone's life with humor, hugs, love, and laughs. She instilled her values of family and loyalty to her family and friends. Dorothy held a successful career on Wall Street for 30 years. Dorothy is survived by her loving husband, John, of 62 years; her sister, Linda Minelli; her daughters, Donna Plicht (Arthur) and Charlene Merendo; her grandchildren: Jonathan, Amanda Bogle (Troy), Joshua, Joseph Bodanza; as well as extended family across the country. Viewing will be held this Tuesday, November 26, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. at Magee, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 8650 N. Shannon on Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God."
