Dorothy “Dottie” Jean Chrum Dorothy was born April 1, 1942 in Washington, DC and passed away peacefully at the age of 76 on December 6, 2018 at Madigan Hospital, Ft Lewis. Dottie’s life revolved around her family. She was very kind and loving and took great pride in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was loved by all who knew her. She loved her gardens, plants and daffodils, the simple life, the idea of raising chickens and the Ozark Mountains. She is survived by her husband of 49 years Robert, sons Charles (Chuck), Ronald (Ron, Ronnie), Robert (Bob/Bobby), Jonathan (Jon), daughters DeAnne Wright, LeAnne Gole, Karin Reynolds, grandchildren Lyndsay and James (DeAnne), Josh and Brittany (Chuck), Ian, Collin, Lauren (LeAnne), Gabriel, Jonah, Adam (Bob), Luke, Vivian, Evelyn (Karin), Justin, Naomi and Kevin (Jon), eight Great-Grandchildren, her sister Sylvia Oakley and her brother Henry Freimuth and numerous extended family members. She will be greatly missed. We will remember her love, smile, laughter, strength, determination, and perseverance and her spirit will continue to shine inside all of us.
