Dorothy Fowler

Dorothy Fowler, 68, passed away peacefully June 18, 2015 at the Edward M. Poe Hospice Care Center of St. Francis in Titusville, FL. Dorothy was born in Indianapolis, Indiana August 18, 1946 to Joseph W. and Love G. Fowler, who have since gone on to be with the Lord. Dorothy was very “special”. Everyday was her birthday and she loved to sing. Her favorite color was purple, so with every birthday there was a purple cake and 2 purple balloons! And, every time we would see her in person, or talk to her on the phone, it didn’t matter what day it was, we had to sing “Happy Birthday to Dorothy”. She loved her family and she loved people. Her smile brightened up any room and she had a sense of humor and a twinkle in her eyes! She is survived by her sisters, Mary Jo Fields-Burney and Alice McClellan, Charles Burney, her nieces and their husbands, Lori and Eric Hanson, and Natalie Jo and Brian Peyton, three great-nephews, William (Tricia), Michael and Joseph Hanson, three great nieces, Rachel (Chad) Raymond, Melissa Jo McDaniel, and Kimberly Love Peyton. Services will be held at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home, 5400 Village Drive, Viera, FL on Wednesday, June 24th at 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Edward M.
