Dorothy Jewel Harper

Lexington, KY Dorothy J. Hanby Harper, 65, died February 6, 2017. She is survived by her daughter April (Gina) Hanby; sons Keith Hanby and Glenn (Brittany) Harper and grandchildren Brianna Harper, Aiden Harper and Abby Harper; 11 sisters and 6 brothers. She is preceded in death by her parents Eddie and Olgia (Wells) Porter. Dorothy spent her happiest times with her children and her grandchildren. Quiet times were spent relaxing and listening to old country music. She loved to cook and was known for her biscuits and gravy and her potato salad. Dorothy never learned to drive, but visited both coasts so that she could see the sunrise and the sunset. Funeral Information There will be a Gather of Family and Friends at The Signature Club located at 3256 Lansdowne Dr, Lexington, KY 40502 from 5-8PM. Thursday, February 16, 2017.
