AUBURNDALE - Mrs. Dorothy Anne Starling, age 61, (November 6, 1948) of Auburndale died Saturday April 24, at the Lakeland Regional Medical Center of heart failure. Mrs. Starling was a native of McAlpin, Florida and had been a resident of our community for 59 years since coming from McAlpin. She was a pastor and was a member of New Hope Ministries in Auburndale. She was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Dorothy Allen. Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Aubrey Lamar Starling of Auburndale; one daughter Sherry Schoch of Bartow; two sons: Michael Starling of Lakeland and Jeffrey Starling of Auburndale; 3 sisters: Carol Starling, Sandy Barrett and Joy Landen all of McAlpin, Florida; 13 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Monday April 26, at 3:00 P.M. at the Kersey Funeral Home, 108 E. Lake Stella Dr., Auburndale. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. Monday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the American Diabetes Association , 1701 N. Beauregard St. Alexandria, Va. 22311.
