Mrs. Dorothy Crowder Taylor, 82, of Greensboro, died Friday, March 29, 2013 at Golden Living Center. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Taylor was born Guilford County June 12, 1930, to George and Bessie Crowder. She was married to the late James Alton Taylor. She loved children and raised several foster children. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher Hairr. She is survived by her daughter, Sheri Connell; sons, Tommy Hyatt (Michelle), Larry D. Hyatt (Susan), Ricky A. Hyatt (Barbara), and Robert Taylor (Melissa); 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Victory Junction, 4500 Adam's Way, Randleman, NC 27317.
