January 25th, 1920 - November 4th, 2013

'Jean passed away peacefully at the age of 93. She was born in Montana, but grew up in the McMinnville-Yamhill, OR area and lived her adult life in Portland and Tualatin. Jean worked at U.S. National Bank for over 30 years, starting in Yamhill as a teller, shortly after high school graduation, and retiring in 1986 from the International Banking division at U.S. National Bank. Jean had a fondness for gardening and traveling. She was a Master Gardener and was active in volunteer work, spending many years as a dresser for Portland Opera. She will be remembered for being a loving grandmother to her four granddaughters and giving a loving home to many 4-legged pets over the years. I knew Jean when she was a dresser for the Portland Opera. She always was asked to dress the leading lady. She did a great job and was always kind and compassionate. Frances Britt - Costume Shop Manager-Portland Opera
