Obituary H. Douglas Bartlett, 69, of Colorado Springs Colorado passed away Sept 2nd 2014 due to an extended illness. He was a Vietnam War Veteran, as well as a long haul truck driver for most of his life. After retiring he worked as a security guard for several casinos in the Cripple Creek area, the latest of which being The Wild Horse Casino. He is survived by his wife Pamela J Schine of Batavia, NY, three daughters; Sarah (Bartlett) Sexton of Rapid City SD, Maggie (Bartlett) Schine of Sioux Falls SD, Julie Swan of Batavia NY, and three Sons Mark Swan of Pollock TX, Chris Swan of Woodland Park CO, and David Swan of Woodland Park CO. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Douglas was preceded in death by his parents Katurah Pearl and Irwin Douglas Bartlett, one sister Berniece Harvey, and one brother Ivan Daryl Bartlett. Doug will forever be remembered as a very loving and giving man. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends. Before passing he had spent 6 years at the Cedarwood Health Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. There he formed many close relationships with the residents and remembered as the man who would help anyone in need. Services are being held at Ft.
