Douglas LeRoy West "Miklo", 25, of Payette, passed away Friday, Oct. 31, 2014 at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center - Ontario. A memorial service will be held at 11 am, Friday, Nov. 21st at the Calvary Chapel, 1775 Alameda Dr., Ontario. Cremation is under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. Condolences may be made to Douglas's family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com. Douglas was born July 15, 1989 to Norman and Constance West in Ontario, OR. In 2008 he received his G.E.D and was a labeler at Seneca Produce for the past 4 years. Douglas enjoyed being in the outdoors; hunting, fishing, dirt bike riding and working on his Bronco. He was a good and loyal man who loved his family and friends. His girlfriend, Amanda Gonzales, was the true love of his life and he helped raise her sons. Douglas had a smile that would melt your heart, was known to be a jokester and always put everyone else's needs before his own. He made an impact on people's lives like he will never know. He will never be forgotten and will be forever in our hearts. He is survived by his parents Norman and Constance West; brothers Dennis Anderson, Darrel Lammers and Dustin West; sisters Sharon Anderson and Mairia Wiggins; his girlfriend Amanda Gonzales and her sons Elijah and Noah Gonzales; and 17 nieces and nephews.
