Dr. Charles Henry Hicks
July 3rd, 1935 - August 12th, 2022
Dr. Charles Henry Hicks, 87, husband of Rhonda Hicks, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022, in Lexington, KY. He was born in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late John and Lillian Hicks on July 3, 1935. Dr. Hicks retired from Morehead State University working as a professor of History and Computer Sciences for 31 years. In addition to his wife, he will be lovingly remembered by his son, Matthew (Sarah) Douglas; daughter Linda (Greg) DaVault; grandson, Stephen Dale Hicks, and daughter-in-law Angie Hicks. He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Charles Hicks. A memorial service will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Clark Legacy Center – Brannon Crossing with Nora Conner of St. Luke Methodist Church officiating. In place of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke Methodist Church God’s Pantry.
