Drexil Beard ALVADORE — Drexil Patrick “Pat” Beard of Alvadore died Dec. 23 of age-related causes. He was 75. A celebration of life is planned for summer at the farm. He was born July 7, 1936, in Whittier, Calif., to Maynard and Ione Wagner Beard. He married Marilyn Wells on Nov. 4, 1955, in Placentia, Calif. He graduated from Valencia High School in 1955 and attended two years at California Polytechnic State University. He worked as a supervisor in the concrete block industry until his retirement. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Holly Parra of Alvadore; two sons, Randy of Eugene and Corey of Nevada City, Calif.; a sister, Joan Severson of Montana; a brother, Clark of Utah; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Arrangements by West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene.
