Duane Russell Sewell

Duane Russell Sewell on the morning of July 20, 2020 Duane passed away at South Bay Hospital in Sun City Center, Florida where all of his children surrounded him. He was born in the town of Hartsville, Ohio on October 4, 1936 to his loving parents Russell and Elizabeth Sewell. Duane served in the United States Air force from 1954-1974 retiring with his final assignment at Mc Dill Air force base in Tampa, Florida. After retiring, he served his country still by working with the civil service at Avon Park Bombing range as the Fire Chief for several years. He enjoyed spending all of his time with his family. Duane is preceded in death by his wife of sixty-two years Frances, son Russell Sewell, daughter-in-law Kathy Sewell and son –in-law Danny Tidwell. Duane was survived by his sister Joyce Burgess (Jim); his niece Denene First (Ken) and children; Becky Tidwell, Jeffery Sewell, Kelly Bradley (Tim) and Kristy Rodriguez; eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He will be laid to rest with his wife at Bushnell National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
