Dudley St. William Asher

Mr. Dudley St. William "Blue" Asher, 71, of St. Petersburg, FL, died Monday, September 21, 2009 at Bayfront Medical Center. He was born in Jamaica and retired to St. Petersburg in 2004 from Bronx, NY. He attended Fifth Avenue Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Dr. Pauline E. Asher; five daughters, Carlene Asher, Tara Asher both of Bronx, NY, Marcia Hill, Arlene Bayley both of St. Petersburg, Paula Ramsay-Leefatt of Royal Palm Beach, FL; two sons, Dudley Asher, Jr. of Bronx, NY, Elon McIntosh of St. Petersburg; his mother, Olive Asher; four sisters, Amy, Laurel, Monica, Madge; two brothers, Roy, Carl; and 13 grandchildren. Friends will be received 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday, October 2, 2009 at E. Dale Gunter Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Fifth Avenue Baptist Church 4901-5th Avenue North with Dr. Mike Ramage officiating.
